My answer to Why do I never finish to-do list? How can I change?

Answer by Ken Larson:

I have kept a simple list of no more than 10 items in my pocket for 30 years. The times express my professional and personal items for action at time now and the relative priority of each.

It is the first thing I look at when I arise and the last thing I view before retiring to bed. Sometimes an items solves itself in the interim because my subconscious mind worked the solution while asleep or the item should not have been on the list in the first place.

I update the list weekly. When an item is completed, it is removed, the next highest priority moves up and a new item (if necessary) is added to the list.

I have not found an app that will ever be as effective and my left pocket is very secure.
