My answer to Do small business owners often get asked for an interview?

Answer by Ken Larson:

Independent contractors operate as small business owners. They are often interviewed much like employees for a particular assignment.

In addition small enterprises are often in the role of capability presentation, which is much like an interview, in that the customer expects input with regard to how the small business can fulfill a need.

In my view interviews in the high tech business environment today for small business are constant, not always face to face and require careful cultivation.
