My answer to What is the best way to disagree with someone in a discussion?
Answer by Ken Larson:
Offer an alliterative perspective that acknowledges the value of what the person has offered but suggests a different view.
Listen carefully to an individual with whom you are communicating, considering the specific content of what the other party is conveying.
Then sculpt a reply that acknowledges what you have heard the other party say, offering a constructive and clear response.
We have lost the art of two way conversation as we bury our noses in our technology, firing unilateral texts from our own perspective only and Tweeting the world from an isolated platform.
This has to change for us to progress as a society.
